Second test - Sri Lanka

Postby Sonic on Wed Apr 04, 2012 10:31 am

England 100 for none, they are batting like openers for a change. Hope we score 500 and the bowl them out for 150.

You've always got the feeling that they will fall down like a dominoes and end up with a first innings deficit of 50, let them get 250 in the 2nd and get bowled out for less than 200, lose the series 2-0 and No1 status too...

...then again Strauss, Cook and Trott, in his short spell this morning, looking like they mean business and are going to bat the fuck out of this pitch for the next 4 or 5 sessions.

Come on lads :D

Lets hope all the batsman have decided to bat this test, they have been missing for a while now. Lets hope they have realised we can`t win with just the bowlers. Better so far in this test all to play for....C`MON ENGLAND.

That's more like it lads - great to see the top order pull their weight and all post very respectable scores.

KP can blow hot and cold but on today's showing I guess proves that he is always worth his place.

Over to the bowlers now - lets shit em and get at least something out of this winter.

Super innings, finish the job now and hopefully as early as possible.
I like KP and of late he has more often than not shown what he can do

I was actually entertained watching Pietersen in the gym this morning - My eyes kept wandering from the redhead on the cross trainer in front with the wiggly bum to the tv

Getting back to the cricket - is there actually any Sri lankan fans over there in Sri Lanka?

And I wish billy cooper would fuck off with that trumpet.

Sri lankan cricket board have made it too expensive for the local fans. There were 2 prices at first 1 for the locals and 1 for the foreigners, which were a little bit more expensive. There was some who har about it, so the Sri Lankan cricket board said ok 1 price for all, the foreign one and priced the locals out. Fucking disgraceful, the ICC should be having a word with the Sri Lankan Cricket board.

Hope the bowlers can get at the Sri Lankans early, the batsman have given them something to work with at last and boy do we need a test win. Typical KP plays average for a while, then bang he`s on it.He`s both brilliant and frustrating at the same time. C`MON ENGLAND

Someone should shove that trumpet up his arse.

Been a frustrating morning but finally coming along nicely now, you wait all day for a bus and then two come along together, Swann taking 2 wickets

I know it sounds stupid to say that you'd be disappointed if we lost it from here bearing in mind they are theoretically 33-6 but with the two Jayawardena's and Mathews still knocking around then you wouldn't put it past them to knock out another 100 odd runs and setting themselves at least something to bowl at.

England are obviously in control thanks to a late Swann double but never say never with this team.

You are going to have a rellay hard time finindg a book on this topic. The only free and legal nonfiction book that is online is the section of the CIA World Factbook. Chances are your local public library or school library also has in paper.Egypt After Mubarak, 2008. by Bruce Rutherford. Amazon has the Kindle version for $ 19.25.

one of very good seoasn IPL5. I Enjoy th seoasn IPL5 . In my opinion I Tell one thing give oppertunity to all foreign players. In league matches , All foreign players minimum 3 and maximum 5 matches played mandatory .PLASE TAKE ME MY SUGGESTION IN FUTURE SEASON.
